Kier Group plc is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Kier Design team across multiple locations. You’ll contribute to temporary works design and checking, support tender development, and provide innovative, buildable engineering solutions for complex projects.

Working in a hybrid model with flexible hours and a strong emphasis on professional development, you’ll join a large, integrated design community delivering varied infrastructure schemes across the UK.

Qualifications

• IEng Initial Professional Development or equivalent.
• Level 6/7 qualification with demonstrable design experience.
• Full driving licence considered essential where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to temporary works design and checking, integrated with permanent works design.
• Support tender and bid activities including outline design schemes and feasibility studies.
• Deliver alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance competitive position.
