Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer (Specialist Training) in Blackburn. The role offers a permanent position with a fast-paced manufacturer, a salary around £36,000 plus a structured training programme, development opportunities and 32 days holiday.

Commutable from: Blackburn , Preston, Burnley, Accrington, Darwen, Chorley, Bolton, Clitheroe, Rochdale, and surrounding areas

Are you a Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, CAD Engineer or similar looking for a fast paced environment where you will develop your skills in a specialist industry, with a structured training programme to help you become a technical expert and progress your career?

On offer is a permanent position with an established manufacturer of specialist market-leading products, where you'll work closely with design, operations, and specialist technicians to deliver fast turnaround designs and manufacturing data.

As a result of significant business growth and a strong order book through to 2028 and beyond, they are now looking to add to their design capability to support continued success and product development.

In this role you will design specialist assemblies, produce manufacturing data, create CNC cutting programmes, and integrate systems. You'll also maintain BOM/ERP data, support warranty/quality investigations, and contribute to standardisation and cost/quality improvement initiatives.

This role would suit a Design Engineer with 3D CAD experience, looking to take on more responsibility, broaden their technical exposure, and develop long-term within a growing engineering business.

• Creating 3D designs in a fast paced manufacturing environment
