Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Design Engineer (Renewable Energy) in Lichfield to join a rapidly expanding solar PV and battery storage business.

You will design and develop systems from concept through to installation using AutoCAD and industry software, producing detailed drawings and calculations while coordinating with project teams. On offer are 38k-45k, bonus, private healthcare, 33 days holiday, training and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Experience using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Experience producing technical drawings for engineering or construction projects.
• Commutable to Lichfield.

Responsibilities

• Produce technical drawings, layouts and design packs.
• Complete performance assessments and design calculations.
• Work on commercial and industrial renewable energy projects.
• Utilise AutoCAD and specialist design software.
• Liaise with Project Managers, procurement teams and installation engineers.
• 37.5-hour week, Monday-Friday.
