Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a Renewable Energy specialist in Lichfield. You will own electrical design, standards and compliance across commercial and industrial projects, providing hands-on technical leadership and ensuring delivery.

The role involves reviewing designs, approving SLDs/schematics, supporting grid connections and maintaining industry compliance, with a focus on Solar PV and Battery Storage readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial or industrial electrical installations.
• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing.
• Solar PV or Battery Storage experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve electrical designs and technical documentation.
• Produce SLDs and schematics and design calculations.
• Support grid connection applications and DNO requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to project and installation teams.
• Drive electrical compliance across the business.
