Job summary

Contained Air Solutions is seeking a Project Manager / Design Engineer to deliver customer projects from concept to completion in a specialist clean air and containment environment.

You will work across Contracts, Design, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Service and Installation to ensure projects are technically correct, well planned and commercially controlled. This role offers training and progression under experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in mechanical engineering, product design, manufacturing engineering or related discipline.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and applying engineering principles.
• Ability to plan work and manage actions to deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication across departments and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned projects from handover to final completion within scope, schedule, quality and cost targets.
• Review orders, drawings and contractual requirements; escalate omissions or risks promptly.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs and progress reports.
• Coordinate across Design, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Testing, Service and Installation.
• Produce weekly project reports with the Design Engineer and issue to customers.
