Job summary

Hunter Selection is excited to recruit a Design Engineer in Melksham, Wiltshire. You will work on diverse projects across the full product lifecycle from concept to production, with real impact and clear opportunities to grow in a supportive team.

The role requires an engineering degree and hands-on 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge or similar). A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential. Salary is £45,000 - £55,000 plus a bonus and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Engineering
Experience with 3D CAD
Strong understanding of engineering and product design principles
Proactive, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
Collaborative and owns their work

Responsibilities

Develop innovative design concepts from brief to production
Create 3D CAD models and detailed drawings
Support product development, testing and validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, production and quality
Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement
Assist in transitioning designs into manufacturing
