Design Engineer (Electrical)

£35,000 - £42,000 + Bonus + Life insurance + Training + Healthcare

Wincanton

Are you an Electrical Design professional seeking a varied role with a well-respected, family-owned company? This position offers training on estimation and other skills to enhance your professional development, along with a generous quarterly bonus.

Join a well-established family business specializing in manufacturing and supplying electrical products to blue-chip clients across the UK and global markets.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce quotations with detailed technical drawings and wiring schematics using AutoCAD.
2. Maintain and update the design database, manage drawing revisions, and link designs to relevant stock items.
3. Review and improve existing designs, incorporating manufacturing feedback to prevent issues and improve product quality.

This role is suitable for someone with an electrical bias in design, looking to develop their design package knowledge and benefit from company-wide bonuses.
