Job summary

STATS Group in Kintore, Aberdeenshire invites a design engineer to join a multidisciplinary team. You will develop concept designs from initial ideas through to drawings, justification to codes and standards, and support field technicians during manufacturing, testing and commissioning.

You will work with AutoCAD, Inventor and other tools to deliver high-integrity drawings, ensure fitness for purpose, and maintain project schedules across onshore and offshore assignments in a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Competence in AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Competence in Ansys or other FEA packages.
• Competence in MathCad.
• Experience in a design engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Take technical direction from the Engineering Manager, Lead Design Engineers and Product Technical Leads.
• Provide design support for manufacturing, assembly & test.
• Carry out site surveys – onshore & offshore.
• Check drawings produced within the department and ensure standards are met.
