Job summary

STATS Group in Kintore, Aberdeenshire, is seeking an Interventions Engineer to support the UK/EU region with interventions-focused engineering services. You will create engineering packages for regional intervention work, including asset selection, job layout, stress analysis and fitting selections.

The role requires 5–10 years of Oil & Gas experience with ASME/B31 code knowledge, 3D modelling skills in Autodesk Inventor, and the ability to produce detailed design packages and associated

Qualifications

  • 5 - 10 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience.
  • Design experience to ASME pressure vessel/pipeline codes and standards (B31.4, B31.8, B31.3, ASME VIII Div 1 & 2).
  • Familiar with process plant or pipeline interventions such as hot taps, line stops, welded fittings, repair clamps, isolations.
  • Proficient in 3D modelling and drafting using Autodesk Inventor.

Responsibilities

  • Produces conceptual and detailed engineering design and analysis to support interventions scopes.
  • Ensures packages comply with customer requirements and codes, approving layouts and design packages.
  • Prepares equipment specifications for project and operational assignments.
  • Assists with project assembly CAD models, layout drawings, test/lift plans, GA drawings and BOMs.
  • Reviews client data for in-house testing and project execution readiness.
  • Advises operations staff on testing and assembly of equipment.
  • Attends client meetings to identify design requirements and processes.
