Job summary

ProTech Recruitment Ltd is assisting a medical device manufacturer near Ware, Hertfordshire, to recruit a Design Engineer to join a small, friendly team. You will be involved in the full product development process, from initial ideas and 3D design to building prototypes, testing and seeing your designs come to life.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years experience or a strong technical background as a graduate, plus a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, good 3D CAD skills with

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Product Design or similar.
• Good 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks would be ideal).
• Understanding of engineering drawings, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on design and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the entire product development process from initial concepts and 3D design to building prototypes and testing.
• Take ownership of projects and see designs through to life.

Are you an ambitious Design Engineer looking for a role where you can really get stuck in?

We're recruiting for a fantastic medical device manufacturer looking for a Design Engineer to join their small, friendly and sociable team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with 1-2 years experience, although we'd also love to hear from enthusiastic graduates with a strong technical background.

You’ll be involved in the entire product development process, from initial ideas and 3D design through to building prototypes, testing and seeing your designs come to life.

What we're looking for
