Job summary

3sixty Resourcing Ltd have partnered with a client in Mansfield to recruit a Design Engineer. You will lead electrical/building services projects across the UK and Europe, producing route and layout drawings using Revit and CAD.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, with Inventor and Revit as strong advantages; you will collaborate with the Design Manager and project teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Excellent benefits and career progression offered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Inventor and Revit are a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with electrical systems or building services is beneficial.
• Able to interpret and understand technical and engineering drawings.
• Competent in the use of standard IT tools.
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Skilled at managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce route and layout drawings using Revit and CAD software.
• Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and project teams to create detailed drawings of the company's products.
• Engage with Revit models and utilize Autodesk Docs for efficient file sharing and project coordination.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, manufacturing staff, and installation contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct occasional on-site surveys to support design and installation planning.
• Work alongside the Engineering Department to deliver customer-focused solutions from project initiation through to completion.

Due to significant growth and expansion, we require an experienced Design Engineer to join their expanding team and take lead of multiple electrical / building services projects throughout the UK and Europe.

What's involved for the Design Engineer…
