Bennett And Game Recruitment is recruiting a Design Engineer for a Burscough, Lancashire role. You will design foundation piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions while supporting project delivery from concept to construction.

The package includes £40,000–£49,000, a Company Car or £4,730 Car Allowance, annual bonus, private healthcare, and a company pension, plus CPD and chartership support to aid progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Design foundation piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience, or a genuine interest, in foundations and ground engineering.
• Knowledge of piling, retaining structures, grouting, soil mixing, anchors or soil‑nail systems (advantageous).
• Experience using software such as PLAXIS, WALLAP, the Oasys Suite or AutoCAD (training provided).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
