A leading contractor is seeking a Design Engineer to focus on foundations and geotechnical designs in the power T&D sector. This remote role requires strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively. The successful candidate will work on high voltage projects and collaborate with clients and contractors to optimize engineering solutions.
This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a good technical background and demonstrable experience in producing foundations or geotechnical-based designs within the power T&D sector, including OHL or steel pylons and towers. Occasional presence at the Midlands office, with the option to work from home.
Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of projects, our client is seeking a Design Engineer to support the design aspects across their power T&D division, focusing on high voltage (HV), extra high voltage (EHV), overhead line (OHL) steel lattice towers, and pylons carrying overhead power lines and cables.
The successful candidate must review enquiry documentation to identify key project considerations. The client seeks a high-caliber professional with enthusiasm, drive, and a passion for ground engineering. You should possess strong technical skills, a professional approach, and excellent communication and IT skills.
