The Role

We are building towards our mission to maximise wealth for all. You will lead a talented team of designers across London and Athens offices, fostering a collaborative and creative environment that drives innovation and excellence in design.

This isn’t solely a people management role - you will also shape product direction as well as be involved in the details of flagship projects. You will actively engage in the design cycle, product details, and business outcomes.

What you will do

1. Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional growth
2. Lead in design critiques, workshops, and ideation sessions to build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
3. Set high standards and support the team to deliver designs that build trust and long-term relationships with our users, and craft intuitive and delightful user experiences. Always challenge to do better
4. Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering Leads to ensure seamless collaboration across teams and functions
5. Lead conversations from a design perspective in quarterly planning and project prioritisation sessions
6. Influence cross-functional teams to continuously enhance product quality utilising data, user feedback, research findings, and market trends

Who you are

1. You have extensive experience in product design, with a number of years in managing and mentoring designers of all seniority levels, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
2. You come from a strong design background, preferably in the fintech and mobile app industry in a fast-paced environment
3. You have experience working on product design at scale, with an international footprint especially in the European market
4. You understand business outcomes and are able to identify overlaps with user value, and further translate them into design strategies
5. You have an analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem solving and decision making
6. You have excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
