Job summary

Expleo is seeking a Design Engineer to work on hybrid site projects, focusing on design investigations and technical solutions in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will support the engineering design team, ensure design standards are met, and provide guidance within work-packages. The role emphasizes problem solving, documentation, and collaboration across reviews and gates.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or HNC level apprenticeship required.
• Familiarity with design methods and processes.
• Wing primary structure design experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical solutions and compliance documentation for work-packages within customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements.
• Identify, analyse and resolve technical problems with applicable solutions.
• Develop, execute, and verify methods plans, toolsets and approaches to meet design and programme objectives.
• Analyse customer tasking documents to define technical solutions for bids and proposals.
