Job summary

EIAT invites applications for a Design & Technology Teacher to support creative and practical learning within our educational setting at Queensbury School in North Birmingham. The role focuses on developing design thinking, technical confidence and hands-on skills for students aged 11–19.

We seek an innovative, well-organised professional with a strong ability to plan and deliver practical lessons, while maintaining a safe learning environment and constructive feedback for students.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Design & Technology lessons in classroom settings.
  • Strong understanding of design processes, materials, and practical techniques.
  • Ability to manage practical activities safely and confidently.
  • Good communication, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Teach practical lessons that combine design thinking, creativity and technical skills.
