Job summary

Drillmar is seeking an experienced Derrickman for an offshore platform drilling installation. The role requires prior offshore Derrickman experience on a drilling rig and active OPITO/MIST certifications. The successful candidate will join the rig on 22/10/2026 for a 3-week rotation from Aberdeen.

Candidates without the specified training/experience will not be considered or stored for future opportunities.

• OPITO Approved Survival (BOSIET/FOET + CA-EBS), OGUK Medical and OPITO MIST certifications required.

Job description

Our client, an industry-leading drilling contractor is looking for a Derrickman to join one of their platform drilling installations which crew changes from Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will join the rig on 22/10/2026 x 3 weeks.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must have offshore experience in this role on-board an offshore drilling rig.

The following certification is required:

• OPITO Approved Survival (BOSIET / FOET + CA-EBS)
• OGUK Medical
• OPITO MIST
