Job summary

CAN Group seeks an Offshore Inspection Engineer to support in-service inspections on a regular 3/3 UK offshore rotation. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with pressure systems, NDT, RBI practices and safety standards.

Qualifications include RG2 Category 3, IRATA rope access, offshore survival/MIST, and PCN Level 2 NDT. Incorporated Engineer status is desirable and a proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• UKAS RG2 Category 3 (or above) certification is required.
• IRATA rope access and offshore survival related certs are essential.
• NDT PCN Level 2 qualifications are expected.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Inspection Engineer (OIE) to work on a regular 3/3 UK offshore rotation.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated significant relevant industry experience with a minimum of 5 years in-service inspection and assessment of pressure systems.

Successful candidates must possess the following:

Qualifications:

• UKAS RG2 Category 3 (or above)
• IRATA Rope Access
• Offshore Survival Certification, Medical and MIST
• Incorporated Engineer Status or working towards (desirable)
• NDT Qualifications: PCN Level 2 in; Ultrasonic Testing, MPI and DPI

Skills/Experience:

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Demonstrate effective leadership skills
• Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant standards relative to O&G industry equipment and processes
• Knowledge of NDT and the principles of Risk Based Inspection methodologies
