18 Week Support Limited is seeking a Dermatology Outpatient Healthcare Assistant to support weekend insourcing clinics for NHS dermatology services. The role focuses on preparing clinics, guiding patients, taking observations, and assisting clinicians, with flexible weekend scheduling.

You will keep clinical records, uphold patient care and dignity, and work within a multidisciplinary team to help reduce NHS waiting times. Recent dermatology outpatient experience is required.

This six-month post is for a Dermatology Outpatient Healthcare Assistant, supporting weekend insourcing clinics that 18 Week Support Limited runs for NHS dermatology services. The work centres on preparing clinics, chaperoning patients, taking observations and keeping clinical records, alongside clinicians. The weekend clinics are aimed at reducing NHS waiting lists, and scheduling is flexible around availability. Candidates need recent, hands-on dermatology outpatient experience, with at least six months of it in the past year.

What’s required

Experience

• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant in an NHS dermatology outpatient setting
