Job description

Job responsibilities

CHEC is looking to recruit experienced dermatology clinicians to join the team, supporting the growth of our community dermatology services. Candidates must be able to work independently. Our service manages a wide range of adult dermatological conditions, providing rapid access to secondary care opinions at our clinics. We consider accredited GPwERs, GPs with a Dermatology diploma and good dermatology experience, and hospital-based Dermatologists at registrar or staff grade level.

Person Specification - Experience (Essential)

• GMC registration with licence to practice
• Diploma in dermatology
• Experience in dermatology
• Supporting evidence of training for hospital-based Dermatologists
• Performers List proof (any UK performers list acceptable)
• Valid DBS less than 12 months old
• Personal indemnity covering all patient care within this role
• Date and evidence of last appraisal
• Proof of current NHS employment

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This role requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
