Job Description

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Derivatives Clearing Operations specialist in ISG Equity Operations. The role is critical in enabling the business strategy through superior client service and solutions delivery for commodities clients.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the firm to support financial transactions, implement effective controls, and develop client relationships. This is an Advanced Specialist position at Vice President level within the ISG Equity Ops area.

What you'll do in the role:

  1. Manage complex processes and support significant process management or project efforts.
  2. Lead process improvement initiatives, project management, or technology development and testing across multiple teams/divisions.
  3. Analyze complex issues, identify risks and root causes, and propose solutions, tracking progress to resolution.
  4. Build and manage relationships with business partners, infrastructure departments, and external contacts in client or market organizations.
  5. Partner with operational groups within Derivatives Clearing to enhance understanding of European Power and Gas markets.
  6. Implement robust processes and procedures to support commodity clients in Europe.

What you'll bring to the role:

Essential:

  • Comprehensive understanding of operational and compliance policies in Power and Gas markets.

Additional qualifications:

  • Knowledge of processes, projects, systems, markets, and instruments affecting the team.
  • Ability to think commercially and understand the impact of initiatives and risks on operational budgets.
  • Capability to address non-standard issues within expertise.
  • Leadership qualities, embodying and promoting the firm's core values.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-phase deliverables in collaboration with Change the Bank, Technology, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to define operational processes supporting clients.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
