If yes, then the position of Sister/Charge Nurse on ward D2 Royal Bolton Hospital may interest you.
We are looking for leaders who embrace the Trust values. Ideally, you should have experience in both acute medicine and medical assessment wards and possess a wide range of clinical skills which will equip you to care for the acutely unwell patient.
We are a large multidisciplinary team with a commitment to staff training and development. In addition to clinical responsibilities, your role will support deputising for the Ward Manager, including attending meetings, cascade training, supporting the wards to achieve their objectives, and participating in activities to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and a positive experience. A full induction and training will be provided on appointment.
You will be trained to coordinate the shift, ensuring that the environment is safe and prepared for patients waiting for assessment by the medical team. The ward is fast-paced, and you must have the ability to work under pressure and manage a large team of nurses and healthcare assistants.
Essential criteria: Level 5 or above Nursing Qualification
Desirable criteria: Level 6/7 Nursing qualification
Essential criteria: Acute medicine experience
Desirable criteria: Significant acute medicines experience
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
