Job summary

Victim Support is seeking a Deputy Team Leader to help coordinate the Witness Service within busy court environments. You will support the Team Leader, volunteers, and wider service to ensure witnesses receive timely, compassionate support throughout their justice journey.

You will oversee daily case allocations, risk assessments, and referrals while auditing cases and measuring KPIs for quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating witness services or in a similar court setting.
• Strong communication and data handling skills.
• Ability to allocate cases, assess risk, and report on KPIs.

Job description

You will help coordinate and maintain excellent support for witnesses within busy Court environments and will play a vital role in supporting the Team Leader, volunteers, and wider service ensuring witnesses receive timely, compassionate, and effective support throughout their justice journey., As a Deputy Team Leader, you will support the delivery of the Witness Service within the court environment, through daily witness case allocation ensuring witnesses receive timely needs and risk assessments, support and appropriate referrals to other services whilst assuring the quality of the Witness Service provision. You will work collaboratively with Team Leaders, volunteers and the wider Court team to maintain quality support for witnesses. You will focus on performance, including case allocation, auditing cases and collating local service performance reports, measuring KPIs and quality compliance.
