Job summary

Affinity Trust in Preston is seeking a Deputy Support Manager to lead a team delivering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and related needs. You will work under the guidance of the Support Manager to inspire staff and ensure high-quality care.

The role requires flexibility, including some out-of-hours on-call, and a focus on safeguarding, CQC compliance and rota efficiency. A driving licence is preferred but not essential; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in a Deputy/Senior role.
  • Driver preferred but not essential.
  • Sponsorship not available.

  • Support people to live independently, delivering person-centred care with warmth and compassion.
  • Develop personalised plans that respond to individual needs and preferences.
  • Inspire and empower the team to provide confident, high-quality support every day.
  • Maintain CQC compliance and rota efficiency while promoting structure and independence.
  • Drive positive outcomes using Positive Behaviour Support and Proact-SCIPr-UK.
  • Work flexibly, including out-of-hours on-call, to ensure continuity of care.

We have a new opportunity for a Deputy Support Manager who shares our values and really wants to make a difference. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team based in Preston, where you will inspire and empower our staff, under the guidance of the Support Manager, to support adults with learning disabilities and Autism to live their life their way! The role will require you to 5 days a week Monday to Sunday including 1 day per week providing direct support as part of embedding and upskilling our team.
