Job summary

Iceland is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to work with the Store Manager to maximise profit, lead the team and ensure the store runs smoothly. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, managing costs and stock availability, and maintaining strong processes across all areas of the store.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach staff, and foster an inclusive culture while ensuring compliance with health and safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by reviewing sales, operations, and digital performance weekly to identify priorities and drive actions.
• Drive team engagement by communicating effectively and showing appreciation and respect for every team member.
• Lead by example to deliver best service in-store and at customers' doorstep.
• Ensure cash handling and security policies are implemented in the store.
• Deliver the best digital service by following all 'One Best Way' processes across the store.
• Support the Store Manager to manage the store operation in their absence.
