Job summary

Oxfam is seeking a Deputy Shop Manager to drive retail performance across our Oxfam Shops. The role focuses on leading a diverse team, maintaining daily shop activities, and working within our volunteer operating model to deliver strong customer service and community engagement.

You will support the Shop Manager, motivate staff and volunteers, and help maintain merchandising standards while seeking opportunities to grow the business and impact for people in poverty.

Qualifications

• Ability to support development and maintenance of a successful, inclusive and diverse team that can maintain day-to-day shop activities.
• Some commercial awareness with ability to support effective retail processes and strong merchandising.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Shop Manager and build positive relationships with colleagues, providing excellent customer service and engaging with the local community.

• Support shop managers in daily operations and delegation to volunteers.
