As we continue to expand and develop as a leading Trauma Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment and play a crucial role in delivering care to our complex patient caseload.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Emergency Nurse who can rise to the challenges of this fast-paced setting, providing both clinical and managerial leadership. If you have the skills and expertise to thrive in a trauma environment, we encourage you to apply and be part of our evolving team.
You will lead a designated clinical area; majors, minors, and resus, as well as taking on aspects of managerial responsibility.
You will need to demonstrate drive, commitment, and a strong sense of leadership, delivering excellent patient-centered care.
You should have proven clinical ability in A&E, with substantial experience at Band 5 or above; be able to manage all aspects of the ED daily, including understanding flow and capacity; and possess leadership skills to motivate the team towards Trust goals.
If you are a knowledgeable and skilled practitioner currently working in emergency care, with significant ED experience at Band 5, this could be the role for you.
Ideally, you will have the following qualifications: a first-level degree, a mentorship qualification, and TNCC or ATNC provider status.
You will be expected to evidence your achievements and development plans through a professional portfolio, which will be reviewed during the selection process.
