Job summary
Voyage Care Ltd in Dover is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead our residential service with a compassionate, person-centred approach. You will guide a dynamic team to enhance the quality of life for the people we support, ensuring safe, planned care and smooth day-to-day operations.
The role requires prior care management experience and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care. You will recruit, coach and supervise staff, conduct needs assessments, and participate in on-call duties, with DBS
Qualifications
- Previous management experience in care.
- Level 3 Health & Social Care required.
- Ability to lead a team and develop plans.
Responsibilities
- Managing a team to help people gain more independence in daily life.
- Developing and implementing person-centred support plans.
- Conducting care needs assessments.
- Recruiting and inducting new colleagues.
- Completing medication competencies and audits.
- Attending multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Completing reports and supporting the Registered Manager in day-to-day management.
- Participating in the on-call rota (subject to service needs).
