Voyage Care seeks a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to lead a residential service and drive quality improvement. You will manage a team, implement person-centred plans, and work with colleagues to help people gain independence.

You will formalise care needs assessments, recruit and train staff, supervise performance, and manage reports while supporting the Registered Manager. On-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care management role with Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex health needs.
• Ability to develop and implement person-centred support plans and conduct care needs assessments.
• Experience recruiting, inducting and supervising staff, and completing reports and appraisals.

Deputy Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a fantastic Deputy Service Manager to join us in leading our residential service. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people! Our Deputy Service Managers will be responsible for managing a team of colleagues with the purpose of helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives. You could be developing and implementing person centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, recruiting and inducting new colleagues, completing supervisions/appraisals, completing medication competencies and medication audits, attending mutli-disciplinary meetings, completing reports and generally assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of our service. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Deputy Service Managers play a central role in team leadership and have a hands-on approach to care management. You will also take part in the on-call rota (although this may be subject to change depending on the needs of the service). This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to the lives of others, whether that's helping our colleagues grow in confidence or the people we support gain independence so that they meet their goals.

We're interested in our Deputy Service Managers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Deputy Service Manager should have previous experience in a care management role and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, Learning disability's and complex health needs.

Starting at £15.35 - 17.35 (Ts & Cs apply) Contract: 37.5 Typical shifts would be: 2 x 7:30 - 21:30 1 x 7:30 - 15:30 Monday - Sunday
