Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Deputy SENCO for a BS4 Bristol school. The role blends part-time Teaching Assistant duties with Deputy SENCO responsibilities, supporting the SENCO and coordinating SEN provision for pupils with additional needs.

The position involves liaising with teachers, parents and external agencies, updating pupil plans, and ensuring safeguarding policies are followed. A flexible, committed candidate is required for ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Deputy SENCO or in a similar SEN coordination role.
• Strong track record of supporting pupils with additional needs in a school setting.
• Knowledge of SEN processes, including support plans and working with external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the SENCO with day-to-day SEN responsibilities.
• Monitor, review and update SEN provision and pupil plans.
• Assist with paperwork, referrals and liaison with external agencies.
