Our Deputy Retail Managers play an essential role in delivering customer experience across our stores—driving sales, promoting customer loyalty, maintaining high operational standards, and smashing commercial targets.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing store operations to maximize profitable sales and growth
• Creating a positive work environment and supporting team development within Dobbies
• Enhancing the in-store customer experience by inspiring your team
• Collaborating with central support teams to improve business operations
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed, safeguarding employee and customer welfare
• Maintaining audit controls, best practices, and coaching the team on governance
• Managing stock processes from receipt to visual merchandising
• Acting as deputy to the General Manager in their absence
• Performing duty manager responsibilities, including key holder duties

• Experience in retail operations management

• Strong stock control and health & safety compliance skills
