Job summary

Choice Support is seeking a part-time role to assist the Registered Manager across multiple care services for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will deputise during absences and lead Team Managers and Support Workers, ensuring safe, person-centred care and ongoing staff development.

The role requires two years’ management experience in social care, a Level 4/5 leadership qualification, and strong knowledge of CQC rules.

Qualifications

• Two years' management experience in social care or leading managers in a care setting.
• Two years' experience managing budgets, staffing and service performance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager across several care services and deputise in their absence.
• Lead Team Managers and Support Workers to maintain safe, person-centred support and staff development.
• Support recruitment, inductions and staffing to keep services safe and compliant with policies.
• Ensure health, medication and finances are managed safely and records are accurate.
• Build strong relationships with families and external professionals; act as a key point of contact.
• Take part in the on-call rota; assist with rotas and safe staffing.
• Ensure records are confidential and action concerns promptly.
