As our charity continues to grow and adapt to changing need, we seek our first Deputy Operations Manager to assist with the management and day to day running of the children's clubs for the charity.
Location: Mainly in the Keynsham Mencap Office, Keynsham BS31 1HG, however some clubs and once you are up and running some hybrid working is possible.
Position Type: Part-time. 18 hours per week.
Hours: To be agreed. Flexible working considered. Occasional evening and weekend hours required when visiting our clubs and services.

Our clubs are lots of fun! We have only the highest aspirations of what can be achieved by someone with a learning disability. Our vision is a future where everyone with a learning disability has the same opportunities as anyone else to participate in their community, meet people and develop friendships.
Job Description:
This is a new role at Keynsham Mencap, and you will be working with our Operations Manager to manage and oversee all aspects of our service.
You will assist the Operations Manager with the planning and delivery of all projects, activities and clubs associated with Keynsham & District Mencap Society, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will take a lead for the Children’s Services. You will be responsible for deputising for the Operations’ Manager across all clubs during the Operations Manager periods of absence.
