Job overview

We seek to recruit a Deputy Operational Manager to work within the Northern Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).

The successful candidate will join a dynamic, forward looking and well established service working with teams across Manchester, Salford and Trafford. The department provides services in partnership the local authority, voluntary sector organisations and other agencies that provide health and social care to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of our local communities.

Main duties of the job

The Deputy Operational Manager is responsible for the day to day operational management of sexual health, contraception and HIV services across sites in Manchester, Salford, Trafford.

To lead on the management of a team of administrative staff supporting the delivery of a large clinical service delivered from a range of clinical and non-traditional settings and to develop and implement policy for this area.

To ensure the smooth day to day running of clinical services and monitor service performance.
