Protocol Education is seeking a proactive Deputy Nursery Manager for a thriving nursery in LS28. You will support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring outstanding care and education for children while promoting a positive, collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 Early Years Qualification, has nursery leadership experience, strong EYFS knowledge, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification is essential.
• Experience in nursery/early years and in leadership roles is required.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and safeguarding policies is essential.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations of the nursery.
• Lead and motivate staff to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
• Monitor and support children’s progress to meet EYFS standards.
• Conduct observations, assessments and planning for learning and development.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and external professionals.
• Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
• Act as Nursery Manager in the Manager’s absence.
