Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Previous experience in a senior nursery role or Deputy Manager.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and supporting team development.
• Committed to creating a positive environment for children, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with the overall operation of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the nursery team.
• Ensure outstanding childcare and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring positive outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals.
• Support with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance standards are consistently met.
• Step into the Manager's role in their absence.
