Job summary

Heron Park Primary Academy is seeking a dynamic Deputy Nursery Manager to join its Early Years Team on a permanent, term-time basis. The role is full-time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday, 8.00am–4.00pm, caring for children aged 2–4.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support daily nursery operations and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years qualification, experience in early years settings, and strong communication skills to build

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
• Experience working in an early years setting.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with children, families and colleagues.
• Enthusiastic, organized and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for 2–4 year olds.
• Assist in leading play-based learning activities and routines.
• Collaborate with staff to raise pupil achievement and well-being.

Heron Park Primary Academy is looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager on a permanent, term-time only basis to join its dedicated Early Years Team.

This is a full-time, term-time only role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm).

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery, providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 2 - 4.

1. you hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
2. you have experience working in an early years setting
3. you are able to plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences
4. you have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
5. you are enthusiastic, organised and committed to working collaboratively as part of a team
