An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Deputy Nurse Manager to join their award-winning care home. Hours: 40 hours per week - 24 hours Supernumerary/ 16 hours on the floor
Pay: £48,960 per annum
Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY3 8PP
As Deputy Nurse Manager at our award-winning client's care home, you’ll support the delivery of the quality care they are known for. Working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with ensuring care standards, motivating your team, and leading by example. You’ll monitor standards through audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks. You’ll set high standards and develop strategies to achieve your goals.
To join us as a Deputy Nurse Manager, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration. Experience in caring for residents with diverse health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and conducting clinical risk assessments is essential. Additional skills in HR, sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship are also important. You should be compassionate, resilient, and committed to delivering quality care in a dynamic environment.
