Job summary

YouLend Limited is seeking a Deputy MLRO UK & EU to deputise for the MLRO and strengthen financial crime governance across the UK and EU. The role sits in Compliance and will coordinate with Legal, Regulatory Compliance, and Product teams.

The successful candidate will oversee KYC/KYB, screening, transaction monitoring, and enhanced due diligence, while providing senior advisory support on new products and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial crime within regulated financial services.
• Experience acting as MLRO or Deputy MLRO or as Nominated Officer.
• Strong understanding of UK financial crime requirements (MLRs, sanctions, SARs, NCA/FCA expectations).

Responsibilities

• Nominated Officer cover and maintanance of the financial crime framework.
• Deputise for the MLRO and make SAR/DAML decisions when unavailable.
• Refine AML/CTF controls including KYC/KYB and monitoring processes.
• Prepare regulatory reporting, MI and engagement with authorities as required.
• Lead EU AML Regulation readiness for 2027 and coordinate cross-border activities.
