Job summary

Agincare is recruiting a Deputy Manager for a brand-new supported living service at Oldland Common. You will lead a small team delivering safe, structured, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, working closely with the Registered Manager to shape practice on day one.

You will oversee staffing, ensure PBS-informed approaches, manage risk and build strong MDT collaboration, with a focus on independence and community living outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising staff in care or supported living.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities/autism.
• PBS knowledge and commitment to person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with daily operations.
• Lead and develop staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
• Ensure Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches are embedded in everyday practice.
• Contribute to assessments, risk management and support planning.
• Oversee rota planning, shift coordination and staff allocation.
• Support MDT communication, family involvement and partnership working.
• Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting and governance requirements.
• Help maintain a safe, structured and enabling environment for residents and staff.
