Rudy's Neapolitan Pizzeria in St Albans is opening and seeks a Deputy Manager. You’ll be the General Manager’s right hand, leading shifts, and overseeing the team to ensure service excellence whether the GM is present.

The role offers a £35,000 base salary with monthly tips and troncs and up to a 32% annual bonus paid quarterly, plus progression toward General Manager within a growing Mission Mars portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience at Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager level in a hospitality environment.
• A confident, credible leader.
• Ability to inspire and manage a large, diverse team.
• Strong operational knowledge.
• Composure and sound judgement under pressure.
• Willingness to develop into General Manager with progression support.

Responsabilités

• Driving performance across front-of-house and kitchen in close partnership with the GM.
• Leading the management and floor team.
• Owning the guest experience at a restaurant level - from service delivery to in-the-moment resolution.
• Managing shift labour, scheduling, and day-to-day cost control.
• Supporting talent development - identifying, coaching, and actively progressing the team.
• Overseeing full compliance: food safety and operational standards.
• Contributing to financial performance, reporting, and target delivery.

Location: St Albans - NEW OPENING

Salary: £35,000 | Tips & Tronc Monthly | Up to 32% Bonus Per Annum paid Quarterly

Contract: Full time

We are excited to be opening in St Albans and are looking for our next Deputy Manager. The Deputy Manager at Rudy's is a high-trust, high-impact role. You'll operate as the General Manager's right hand, leading shifts, overseeing the entire team, and ensuring the restaurant performs to the highest standard whether the GM is present or not. This is the final step before General Management.

What you'll be doing
