Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a proactive Nursery Deputy Manager/SENCO for a term-time role at a community-based nursery in Whitchurch. The post involves supporting the Manager in daily operations, driving high standards of care, and ensuring SEN children's needs are met within the EYFS framework.

You will lead a dedicated team, oversee curriculum planning, and maintain strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
• Experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable (Third-in-Charge experience may be considered).
• Experience as a SENCO is desirable.
• Expert knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Excellent communicator and highly organized.

We are looking for a Nursery Deputy Manager/SENCO to support our client's nursery in Whitchurch.

Our client is a community-based setting surrounded by beautiful countryside.With both a parent committee and a tight-knit internal team, the setting constantly ensures that it adapts where needed and that children's needs are met

Our client is looking for a pro-active Deputy Manager/SENCO to support term-time only.

The Role:

As the Deputy, you will support the Manager in the overseeing of the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will maintain the high standards of the nursery, delivering quality care in line with the EYFS framework. You will provide strong leadership and inspiration to a dedicated team to promote further growth and development. As the SENCO, you will also ensure that SEN children's needs are supported and encourage their progress.
