Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a proactive Nursery Deputy Manager/SENCO for a term-time role at a community-based nursery in Whitchurch. The post involves supporting the Manager in daily operations, driving high standards of care, and ensuring SEN children's needs are met within the EYFS framework.

You will lead a dedicated team, oversee curriculum planning, and maintain strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (essential).
• Experience as a Deputy Manager is desirable (Third-in-Charge experience may be considered).
• Experience as a SENCO is desirable.
• Expert knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Excellent communicator and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the nursery.
• Oversee and support a wonderful team of Early Years Professionals.
• Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and education.
• Evaluate and improve practices and procedures.
• Oversee curriculum planning and the tracking of children's development.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
