Job summary

Nurseplus UK is seeking a proactive Deputy Manager for the Plymouth domiciliary care branch. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, support staff, and drive branch growth.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care and expanding our services in the local area. You will lead care delivery, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/management role within domiciliary care or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and care standards.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager to oversee day-to-day branch operations.
• Help deliver new contracts and packages of care and support growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families and stakeholders.
• Coordinate care delivery, ensuring safe, person-centred care and accurate records.
• Lead audits, risk assessments and quality/compliance activities.
