Job description

ME14 Maidstone Kent

42 hours per week some supernumerary hours

£25 per hour plus benefits

My client is a Good rated 65 bed purpose-built care home providing 24-hour residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care in picturesque settings. The home is a purpose-built luxury home and offers ensuite rooms, pleasant communal areas, café, cinema, hair, and nail bar.

Reporting to the home manager, you will use your nursing training to make a rewarding difference to people's lives every day and provide exceptional care to the residents.

You will:

1. Supervise nurses and carers
2. Create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs
3. Use your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions
4. Use your skills for assessing and care planning for specific clinical requirements by providing holistic health assessments and triaging residents' needs

Job requirements:

1. You will be a qualified RGN/RMN with a PIN
2. Be aware of current clinical practices
3. Ideally having experience of working in a UK care home, although this is not essential
4. You will be flexible to work shifts as well as some supernumerary hours

You will receive ongoing support and training and development as you would expect in a growing and very well-regarded care home provider.

Successful candidates are subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check, and must be authorised to work in the UK.
