Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd is recruiting a Deputy Manager for Lilly House, a 3-bed children’s residential home in Kettering. You will support the Registered Manager to lead a caring, person-centred team and drive quality outcomes for the young people.

You will oversee care plans, staff supervision, training and regulatory compliance, while promoting our PRIDE ethos and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 4 to 17.

Qualifications

• Previous managerial experience in a care setting.
• NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to provide inspiring, motivational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager to lead care teams and ensure high-quality care.
• Oversee documentation, care plans reviews, and monthly updates.
• Assist with budgets, staff rotas, complaints and regulatory relationships.
• Recruitment, induction, training, coaching and appraisals.
