Swanton is seeking a Hybrid Deputy Manager / Team Leader for Blossom House in Rushden. In this full-time role, you will support the Registered Manager, lead staff, and ensure high-quality, person-centred care for children with learning disabilities.

You will play a key role in governance, budgeting, recruitment, supervision, and developing staff while upholding our ethos: Potential, Responsibility, Integrity, Diversity, Empathy. NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a Residential Children’s home and supervisory experience
• NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People or equivalent (Essential)
• Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Enthusiastic and passionate about delivering high quality, person centered care and capable of inspirational leadership

Responsabilités

• Working alongside and with the support of our Registered Manager you will be responsible for the provision of high-quality care by participating, observing, and sharing experience across all services.
• Ensuring person-centred, Ethos driven and outcome focused care reflecting assessed and individual needs.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with the company’s clinical governance and quality assurance systems.
• Maintaining up-to-date care documentation and reviewing care/goal plans monthly.
• Assisting with budgets, staff rotas, complaints, and liaison with external regulatory bodies.
• Leading and managing a motivated, engaged team and ensuring staff development and competencies.
• Recruitment, induction, training, coaching and annual appraisals for all staff.
