Job summary

Dignus Group is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred care across our Coventry services. You will lead shifts, manage teams, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a dynamic, 40-hour week with both hands-on and administrative duties.

This leadership role offers progression opportunities, a supportive environment, and a focus on improving lives for adults with complex needs. Relevant qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a care setting.
• Strong knowledge of care planning, risk management and safeguarding.
• Experience managing staff rotas and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with the overall running of the service, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality care delivery.
• Lead shifts and supervise Team Leaders and Support Workers.
• Oversee rotas, staffing levels and shift planning; ensure compliance and documentation.
• Drive performance, quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development; carry out supervisions and appraisals.
