Job summary

Keys Group is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for an Ofsted-registered Children's EBD home in Widnes to cover a 6-12 month maternity leave. You will be part of a regional leadership team, promoting a therapeutic care approach and supporting staff to deliver high standards.

Essential: Level 3 qualification in Children's residential and a full UK driving licence, plus 2 years' experience in a residential children's home. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Children’s residential care.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
• 2 years' experience in a Residential Children's home.
• Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deputy Manager to lead shifts within a regional leadership team.
• Support delivery of therapeutic model of care and staff development.
• Manage budgets and rotas.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and DBS checks are completed.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Deputy manager for our Ofsted registered Childrens EBD home in Wides to cover maternity leave for a fixed term of 6-12 months. Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role. A minimum Level 3 qualification in Children's residential and experience within a Children's home environment is essential,

• 2 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home either as a Senior or at Deputy level.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People
• Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
• Experience with budgets and rotas
• A full UK driving licence
