Job summary

Berkley Care Group is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead care teams and deliver outstanding person-centred care. This role offers £50,000 - £55,000 annual salary, free meals and drinks on shift, and a supportive, award-winning work environment.

You should have management experience in adult social care, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and stay calm under pressure. The recruitment process includes two-stage interviews with the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous management experience in adult social care settings, including medication management.
• Good knowledge of quality and clinical governance best practices.
• The ability to lead, motivate, develop and delegate to others and be part of a supportive team.
• Experience of promoting a caring and friendly environment where person-centred care is at the heart of every decision, including empowering residents to participate.
• The ability to form relationships with residents, their families, the home team and medical professionals.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
